OBJECTIVES

 

The main objectives of the Public Sector Section are the rationalisation of human resources within the Public Sector by ensuring that external recruitment is only resorted to whenever absolutely necessary and by drawing up and implementing redeployment plans for surp​lus staff in line with Capacity Building approvals. The Section is also responsible for the redeployment of declared ‘surplus’ workforce as a result of restructuring of government funded entities, matching skills with job requirements.
