DISCIPLINE AND STAFF WELFARE

 

OBJECTIVES
 
The main objective of the Discipline and Staff Welfare Unit is to ensure a service-wide basis, the correct knowledge and implementation by line Departments of the Public Service Disciplinary Regulations and relevant procedures. In line with this objective, this Unit provides advice and assistance to line departments on matters relating to discipline, publishes aides, and organises training programmes for officers responsible for the management of disciplinary cases in line departments. Another objective of the Unit is to formulate policies, provide advice and support on the handling of cases and claims relating to matters of conduct, Treasury pension, health and safety, political participation and staff welfare in general.
