Cabinet Office
The Cabinet Office supports the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers in coordinating and implementing the Government’s policies and priorities. It assists the Cabinet by coordinating submissions, preparing meetings, and ensuring decisions are recorded and implemented. The Cabinet Office also promotes cooperation between ministries and government departments to ensure a unified, coherent approach to developing and implementing national policy. In this way, the Cabinet Office coordinates the development of Government policy, contributes to effective governance and informed decision-making, and promotes better collaboration across the public administration.
Vision and mission
The Cabinet Office’s vision is to ensure an effective, coordinated Government in implementing its electoral programme. It assists the Prime Minister, and the Cabinet strengthen good governance and delivering national priorities. Its mission is to facilitate the effective functioning of the Cabinet, ensure accurate recording and communication of Cabinet decisions, and strengthen coordination across Government so that policies and decisions translate into timely action for the benefit of citizens and the country.
